BI-CENTENARY

A celebration of the bicentennial of Margaret of New Orleans — born on Christmas Day 1813 in Tully, Carrigallen, Co Leitrim in Ireland. The Margaret Movement had a grand event on Saturday 15th June 2013 in Tully, Carrigallen.

People were greeted from around the world particularly from New Orleans and the USA. Craft people, displaying and using their unique talents, music, songs, dance, drama and art were all part of the celebration drawing on the organic talent in Carrigallen.
